Attend TFE

We have always heard great thing about the singing and lectureship at the Tahoe Family Encampment.  Affectionately known as TFE, this event is under the oversight of the eldership at the Lassen Street Church of Christ in Vallejo, CA.  We have never been to this event before.

The schedule is already published.  We do not recognize some of the names.   We do know one.   One of the keynote addresses is being given by Ralph Gilmore.  Ralph is a preacher from Tennessee.    We have heard him speak at the Freed Hardeman lectureships.  At one point, he was our parent’s preacher.

Several thousand people attend this event.  It is held under tents specially set up for this occasion.    Many people bring campers and attend the whole week.  Lots of work goes into an event of this magnitude, and for this we are all thankful.

We plan to attend this event.  As is our custom, God willing, we will be taking pictures and summarizing this event.  We will endeavor to post the summaries each night.
